Title of the thesis:The welding of aluminium and its alloys by laser beam
Summary:The aim of the bachelor work is to point out on the properties of aluminium and its alloys that are used in engineering practice and to draw your attention to the basic principles and usage of the modern laser welding technology. The first two sections deal with the properties of aluminum and its alloys, as well as, its classification into particular groups and an accompanying phenomenon arising during welding of the metal. Knowledge about laser radiation and the most commonly used types of lasers in the industrial practice are main point of the third and fourth part. At the same time, the impact of set parameters for different types of welding is included in these parts. Specificities of laser-welded aluminium materials and practical use of technology for the inseparable connecting of selected body parts of motor vehicles are included in the last two chapters.
Key words:laser beam, aluminium, reflectivity, key hole
