Title of the thesis:Alternatively methods of fuel gases desulfurisation for power plant Slovnaft inc, and arbitration them hold on environment.
Summary:This Thesis treats selection of the most suitable method for flue gas desulphurization emitted from Slovnaft thermal power plants' boilers and review of the environmental impact. Realization of the Project is the necessary requirement to achieve the emission inventories according to legislation and which took effect on 1st January 2008. The selection of the most suitable method to secure the fulfillment of pollutants' emission to atmosphere according to legislation, applied technology must not represent new environmental load and must be realized according to the best available technologies ( BAT ) , which is the next requirement claimed by current legislation. Worldwide, during last 30 years, it was invented and realized huge amount of flue gas desulphurization methods, which are produced in energetics by burning fossil fuels. Not all methods are appropriate for thermal power plant. My task was, in accordance with these requirements, to describe, to compare and on the basis of these comparisons to choose the most appropriate method.
