Title of the thesis:The hazard analysis of ammonia discharge in the operation of the ice stadium
Summary:The major subject of this thesis is to emphasize the risk analysis in the operation of ice hockey stadium. The first chapter is focused on the convergence of accidents that have occurred during the discharge of ammonia into the stadium, then on the description of selected attributes of stadium and technical requirements for safe stadium operation. The second chapter is focused on the hazard identification, the possibility of risk management in the ice stadium operation, risk evaluation and proposals of countermeasures. I also tried to analyse the risk of ammonia discharge and describe the functioning of cooling equipment. The next chapter is dedicated to the fire and accidents endangering in cooled facilities from the perspective of security, prevention measures and fire fighting response to an ammonia outbursts. In the last chapter I have made the simulation of emergency situation of amonnia discharge based on risk analysis and evaluated the results. For this purpose, I have used programs ALOHA and Fire GIS.
