Title of the thesis:Mechanics of porous and reinforced materials
Summary:This thesis deals with the micromechanic modeling of plastic material, consists from three parts -- experimental, analytical and numerical investigation. Material properties of the real specimen and also the material properties of the homogenous specimen are determined by experimental test and form input values for analytical a numerical calculation of the effective material properties. Analytical a numerical investigation consider only a representative volume element and with effective material parameters describe material properties as a function of porosity. Complete micromechanics analysis is applied to the model with different porosities, the same for porous and reinforced material. Results from the experimental test are compared with the analytical approaches and also with results from finite element analysis. There is a proof that in the case of uniform distribution of holes and relatively low porosity, the rep-resentative volume element is able to provide sufficiently accurate and relevant results.
