Summary:STREČANSKÝ, Dávid: Design of workpiece clamping system for Charmilles Robofil 310 [Bachelor thesis] – Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava, Institute of Production Technologies - Bachelor thesis supervisor: Ing. Vladimír Šimna, PhD. - Trnava: FoMSaT STU, 2017, number of pages 63. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design the workpiece clamping system for the Charmilles Robofil 310 wire EDM (electrical discharge machining) cutting machine. This work attempts to design the efficient and secure clamping of workpieces to simplify work on the above mentioned machine. The beginning of the bachelor thesis brings an introduction to the issue of electrical discharge machining and basic overview of the clamping systems. Next part is focused on the design of the clamping system itself. This design fulfills all the conditions for efficient machine work. In the final part of the thesis, we developed the technological manufacturing process of specific components of the clamping system.
