Title of the thesis:Design and production of components for the scooter prototype using CA Technologies
Summary:Master’s thesis deals with the design and manufacture of a chosen components for a scooter prototype. Aim of the work is to design scooter components, namely frame and fork support and then manufacture the fork support on a 5-axis machining center. Theoretical parts deals with the use of CA technologies in automotive industry for design and manufacture of motorcycles and automobiles. Second part of the work deals with the design itself, and the design is based on real components of a designer’s proposal of a scooter. Work contains completely developed technological process of manufacture of fork support in the PowerMill software. The conclusion of the work is focused on the realization of the manufacture according to the proposed technological process plan.
