Title of the thesis:Robust Control of a Chemical Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor
Summary:The diploma theses deals with robust control of a continuous stirred tank reactor, which is complicated process from the control point of view, because its operation is influenced by the presence of uncertainties. These uncertainties arise from varying physical parameters, that are known in a certain intervals under given conditions. For control design, it is needed to know dynamics of the controlled system. For the case that we do not have access to experimental data gathered on a real plant, it is necessary to obtain the information from mathematical model of the real plant. For that reason, the diploma thesis deals with deriving of dynamic mathematical model of the reactor. I used method for controller design for systems with parametric uncertainty which was combined with the pole-placement method. The advantage of this method is that we can find a controller for the process with parameters lying in certain intervals.
