Title of the thesis:Cleaning surfaces of objects of fine art modern methods
Summary:Bachelor thesis dealt with changes in varnish layers, which occurs by the action of heat and light in real art works after certain time. The historical recipes of varnishes were studied, according to which were chosen and prepared four model samples. The samples were exhibited to accelerated light aging, where raised temperature affected on them. The analysis was performed by FTIR spectroscopy before and after aging with purpose of finding out the changes in structure of varnishes. The solubility of prepared varnishes was finding out in different solvents and change of solubility by the action of light aging. Teas diagrams have been made for better orientation in solubility of individual samples in solutions. After solutions was finding out the percentage decline of samples of varnishes as well.
Key words:varnish, FTIR, Teas diagrams
