In this work is describe characteristics of a small city car, analysis of current trends in small city cars and a proposal of a small city car. The analysis of the trends described various models of cars that producers offer to the Slovak market in the segment A. Description describe their main parameters such as size of body, engine, safety and emission. From analysis is made a summary of the characteristics today's small city cars. From this summary analysis is based proposal of car. The proposal includes a conceptual solution and determination of parameters which describes the selection and size of body, motorization and equipment. The proposal contains calculate the vehicle dynamic parameters such as size of the driving resistance, gearbox ratios, real and theoretical maximum speed of the car.
