Title of the thesis:The impact of boriding process on the copy end mills wear
Summary:The master thesis is focused on the study and analysis of the influence of boriding process on the copy end mills wear. The entire work is divided into four parts. There are discussed the various characteristics of the cutting process, such as wear, durability etc. Furthermore, the work is focused on the possibilities of increasing the durability of ball end mills. The last part of master thesis is focused on the experiment,on its preparation, planning and execution. The experiment concerns the comparison of borided and not borided tools in the machining process. Evaluated are various parameters thus cutting edge durability and flank wear according to selected criterium. The result of the experiment is to compare which tool (borided or not borided) is more worn out and which had a higher durability of the cutting edge.
