Title of the thesis:
Design and production of automatic feed dispenser for live feed using CAD software and 3D printer
Summary:Aim of this bachelor thesis is to design and manufacture a automated feeding machine of alive food with use of Rapid Prototyping technology. First chapter of this thesis clarifies basic information of Rapid Prototyping. Subsequantly, author points out the most common methods but He is mostly focused on Fused Deposition Modeling. Also materials, which are used by the Fused Deposition Modeling technology are described in this chapter. After that, basics of CAD softwares are explained and classified although the CAD software CATIA V5 is described particularly thus it is used for designing of the certain components of this machine. Practical part of bachelor thesis consists of process of designing and manufacturing of chosen part. Also the practical part of this thesis specifies the issue of conversion .CATpart files to .stl files via CATIA V5 interface. Following author shows a process of overwriting the. .stl file to G-code, with use of Z-Suite slicer, construction of whole machine and its principle of function are illustrate. The last chapter of practical part defines programming language LabVIEW and shows the process of designing compiler program that manage the running of whole machine. Conclusion of this thesis allows author to sum up the results of constructed machine. According to these results author considers the possibillity of usage of this machine and points out the failures, which are necessary for further develompent of automated feeding machine that uses alive food.
