|Summary:||This thesis deals with the design of semiactive truck suspension. Axle suspension of vehicles is not revolutionary or innovative concept. Since time the wheel existed designers efforts to mitigate impacts of vehicles and vehicle vibrations from the road. Proposal for a vehicle suspension system is implemented to meet the required criteria set by its method of use. With the development of technology, the concept of semiactive damping becomes actual. The work is divided into seven chapters. First, set the criteria to be used in assessing the load paths. These are defined according to AASHO tests. Subsequently, semiactive suspension concept is created and model of vehicle to which the concept applies too. The model is created and modified to the maximum correlation with reality. Then control concept with respect to the damper non-linearity and of the model nonliearity is developed using artificial inteligence. Design using the simulation results are experimentally verified and evaluated.|
