Title of the thesis:The software tools exploitation in design and sewer system appraisal
Summary:The thesis describes the software exploitation in the sewer design and appraisal. The present Slovakia state in sewage, when only less than 60% of inhabitants are connected to the public sewer system, make a press for investments and effective technical approach for the new sewer system build up. The thesis offers the analyses of software which was developed for the sewer system design with the aim to improve the design of the combined, separated a domestic sewer system. The SeWaCAD is the computational software system for design and sewage appraisal, base on rational formula. The goal of this system is to design the longitudinal profiles of sewer pipes, which is useful for build the sewers. The system works very dynamic, and the hydro-technical computation is directly transferred into the graphical representation. The next goal of the thesis is the case study of city Detva, where the system was used with the aim to appraisal the existing sewer system. The thesis describes the system for the hydraulic characteristics computing with the aim to improve the teaching process in Faculty of Civil engineering Bratislava. Last one topic of the thesis is the simulation computation with the SWMM model exploitation. The simulated catchment was recalculated with the various rain conditions reasoned by the climate change, and compared with the rational formula sewer system design.
