Title of the thesis:Determination of the effect of selected structural parameters of pressing chamber on briquettes quality
Summary:Habilitation thesis is devoted to research of selected structural parameters of pressing chamber effect on final briquettes quality. In the introduction part of the thesis was done theoretical analyze of structural parameters of densification machines effect and structural parameters of pressing chamber effect on briquettes density. In the thesis were specified and defined structural parameters of pressing chamber and was determined their effect on briquettes density. On the base of available options was designed experimental research, which is described in practical part of habilitation thesis. By evaluation of realized experiment were obtained results, which show the importance of monitored structural parameters during the biomass densification process. In the submitted habilitation thesis are presented results which defined and determined effect of pressing way, effect of pressing chamber length and effect of pressing chamber conicalness on the final briquettes density. On the base of realized experiment was able to partially define also distribution and affecting of friction forces in pressing chamber. This is also presented in habilitation thesis. At the end of thesis, author deals about possible applications of achieved results and about possibilities for further lines of research in the field of biomass densification into the solid biofuels.
