Summary: Téma je zameraná na detailné elektrochemické a spektroskopické štúdie novo pripravených komplexov ruténia v spolupráci s Univerzitou Viedeň. Využijú sa hlavne techniky ako cyklická voltampérometria, UV-vis-NIR spektroskopia, elektrónová paramagnetická rezonancia i spektroelektrochémia. Cieľom je navrhnutie reakčného mechanizmu oxidačných a redukčných dejov skúmaných látok s dôrazom na identifikáciu reaktívnych medziproduktov a elektricky nabitých stavov, ktoré hrajú kľúčový význam pri ich biologickom účinku.
