Annotation: Dizertačná práca bude zameraná na využitie biokatalyzátorov na produkciu chemických špecialít, v ktorých sa ako oxidačné činidlo používa vzdušný kyslík. Jedná sa o procesy, kde je organický substrát obmedzene rozpustný vo vode a má často toxické účinky na bunky, alebo spôsobuje inaktiváciu enzýmov. Jednou z ciest k realizácii týchto procesov je imobilizácia biokatalyzátorov. Cieľom dizertačnej práce bude komplexný inžiniersky výskum týchto trojfázových systémoch s dôrazom na optimalizáciu a scale-up prípravy biokatalyzátorov a realizácie procesu v bioreaktoroch.
Annotation in English: PhD. thesis is focused on the exploitation of biocatalysts for the production of specialty chemicals in which air oxygen is used as oxidation agent. In these processes, organic substrate has often a low solubility in water, it is also toxic to cells or causes enzyme inactivation. One way of the realization of these processes leads via biocatalyst immobilization. The objective of PhD. thesis will be a complex engineering research of these three-phase processes with the emphasis on the optimization and scale up of biocatalyst preparation and bioreactor performance.
