Annotation: Analýza vplyvu vonkajších podmienok a chemického zloženia horľavých kvapalín na teplotu vznietenia a medze výbušnosti podľa štandardných skúšobných metód. Vývoj metodiky na stanovenie tepelného vznietenia kvapalín na horúcom povrchu. Výskum vplyvu fyzikálnochemickcýh vlastností na tepelné vznietenie plynov a pár generovaných na vysokoteplotných povrchoch. Aplikácia výsledkov výskume pre posudzovanie zariadení do prostredia s nebezpečenstvom výbuchu v zmysle predpisov ATEX a pre zisťovanie príčin požiarov.
Annotation in English: Analysis of the impact of external conditions and the chemical composition of flammable liquids for ignition temperature and explosion limits in accordance with standard testing methods. Development of a methodology for thermal ignition of fluids on hot surfaces. Investigation of the influence of physico-chemical properties of the thermal ignition of gases and vapors generated on the high-temperature surfaces. The application of research results for the assessment of equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres under ATEX regulations and for fire investigation.
