Annotation: Cieľom práce je identifikácia mechanizmov, ktoré vplývajú na distribúciu a akumuláciu biotechnologicky významnej mastnej kyseliny v kvasinkách. Získané poznatky tak prispejú k objasneniu protirakovinových účinkov kyseliny punikovej a k identifikácii faktorov potrebných pre jej nadprodukciu v jednobunkových organizmoch.
Annotation in English: Aim of the study is to identify mechanisms that affect the distribution and accumulation of biotechnologically valuable fatty acid in yeasts. These findings will help to clarify the mechanism of anticancer activity of punicic acid and will help to identify the factors necessary for its overproduction in unicellular organisms.
