Annotation: Cieľom témy je vyvinúť a implementovať algoritmy na rýchle a efektívne riešenie optimalizačných úloh nelineárneho prediktívneho riadenia. Projekt využije numerické a parametrické optimalizačné metódy, ako i techniky založené na aproximácii nelineárnych funkcií pomocou po častiach spojitých funkcií. Výsledkom bude jednotná metodológia na návrh, verifikáciu a implementáciu nelineárneho prediktívneho riadenia pre procesy chemickej a potravinárskej technológie.
Annotation in English: The aim of the project is to develop and to implement algorithms for solving optimization problems applied to nonlinear model predictive control. The project will make use of gradient-based and parametric optimization methods, as well as integer optimization applied to a piecewise affine approximation of process nonlinearities. The project outcome will thus be a unified methodology for the design, verification, and implementation of nonlinear model predictive control for chemical and biological processes.
