Annotation: Téma dizertačnej práce je zameraná na syntézu blokových kopolymérov obsahujúcich okrem hydrofilného a hydrofóbneho bloku aj elastický blok za účelom zlepšenia elasticity finálnych materiálov. Kopolyméry sa použijú i na prípravu kompozitných materiálov s vratnou odozvou na svetlo, magnetické alebo elektrické pole. Za týmto účelom sa budú povrchy rôznych (nano)častíc modifikované polymérmi. Syntéza amfifilných blokových kopolymérov ako i modifikácia (nano)častíc sa uskutočná pomocou kontrolovaných polymerizačných techník. Bude sa študovať aj vplyv zloženia kopolymérov na morfológiu, mechanické vlastnosti a schopnosť odozvy na rôzne stimuly. Výsledné materiály môžu byť využité ako nosiče liečiv, umelé svaly, senzory, nanoreaktory alebo v rôznych inžinierskych aplikáciách.
Annotation in English: Well-defined amphiphilic block copolymers containing elastic block will be synthesized for improved mechanical properties of final solid materials. In addition to pure polymeric materials, composites possessing photoactuation, magneto- or electro-responsive properties will be synthesized as well. For these purpose surface modification of fillers will be performed. For synthesis of amphiphilic block copolymers as well as surface modification controlled radical and anionic ring-opening polymerization techniques will be applied. Effect of copolymers composition on morphology, mechanical and stimuli-responsive properties of the material will be thoroughly investigated. The final materials will be potentially applicable as drug delivery solid systems, artificial muscles, sensing devices, nanoreactors or in civil engineering applications.
