Annotation: Využitie monomérov z bioobnoviteľných zdrojov pre prípravu polymérov je vysoko aktuálna téma. Predmetom štúdia je príprava a charakterizácia vlastností polymérnych látok na báze butyrolaktónu. Homopolymerizácia monomérov s butyrolaktónovou štruktúrou, resp. kopolymerizácia s inými monomérmi, poskytuje príležitosť pripraviť nové typy polymérov s širokou škálou vlastností a pre rozmanité aplikácie. Použitá polymerizačná technika má významný vplyv na celkovú polymérnu architektúru makromolekulovej látky. Pri príprave polymérov sa preto využije voľnoradikálová polymerizácia ako aj rôzne typy reverznej-deaktivačnej radikálovej polymerizácie (NMP, ATRP), s ktorými má Ústav polymérov bohaté skúsenosti. V prítomnosti sieťovadla sa pripravia a otestujú hydrogély s absorpčnými vlastnosťami.
Annotation in English: Use of monomers from renewable resources has attracted much attention in last years. The subject of this work is preparation and characterization of butyrolactone based polymers. Homopolymerization of monomers with butyrolactone unit, or copolymerization with other monomers, offer opportunities for preparation of new class of polymers with a wide range of structural complexity, variety of properties and applications. Polymerization technique has a significant impact on the polymeric architecture. Free radical polymerization and various reversible-deactivation radical polymerizations (NMP, ATRP) will be used for a preparation of polymers. Polymerization in the presence of crosslinker yielded hydrogels with absorption properties. This material will be characterized and tested as well.
