Annotation: Vodoodpudivosť pôdy (VP) vzniká pôsobením organických zlúčenín, ktoré produkujú živé alebo rozkladajúce sa rastliny alebo mikroorganizmy. Pravdepodobnosť výskytu VP narastá v suchých a teplých obdobiach a znižuje sa alebo úplne zmizne počas predĺžených období dažďov. VP môže byť vyvolaná aj požiarmi v krajine. VP prispieva k mnohým problémom v oblasti životného prostredia, ako sú záplavy, zrýchlená erózia pôdy, vyplavovanie živín, znečistenie vodných tokov a redukované dopĺňanie zásob podzemných vôd. Cieľom dizertačnej práce bude analýza tvorby povrchového odtoku, intenzity infiltrácie, dynamiky pôdnej vlhkosti a erodovateľnosti pôdy na svahoch s vodoodpudivou pôdou, charakterizovanou stupňom (RI) a stálosťou (WRCT, WDPT) VP.
Annotation in English: Soil water repellency (SWR) is induced by organic compounds that produce living or decomposing plants or microorganisms. A probability of occurrence of SWR grows in dry and hot periods and decreases or disappears during prolonged rainy periods. SWR can be caused also by wildfires. SWR contributes to many environmental problems such as floods, accelerated soil erosion, nutrient leaching, water pollution or reduced groundwater replenishment. The goal of the dissertation is to analyze the formation of surface runoff, infiltration rate, soil water content dynamics and soil erodibility on soil water repellent hillslopes, characterized by a degree (RI) and stability (WRCT, WDPT) of SWR.
