Annotation: Práca je orientovaná na výskum v rámci projektov NATO SPS G5448 a VEGA 1/0159/17. Jedná sa o výskum postranných kanálov v oblasti postkvantovej kryptografie (PQC), resp. v oblasti kryptosystémov založených na probléme riešenia sústavy kvadratických rovníc viacerých premenných nad konečnými poliami (tzv. MQ-problém). Tieto kryptosystémy by mali byť bezpečné voči útočníkom s prístupom ku kvantovému počítaču. Cieľom dizertačnej práce je overiť odolnosť týchto kryptosystémov voči útokom postrannými kanálmi, resp. preskúmať, ako bezpečne implementovať rôzne kryptosystémy založené na MQ-probléme.
Annotation in English: PhD student will work within the scope of the projects NATO SPS G5448 and VEGA 1/0159/17. The goal of the project is to perform fundamental research in the area of cryptosystems based on the problem of solving a system of quadratic equations with multiple variables over a finite field (so-called MQ-problem). This type of cryptosystems should be secure against attackers with an access to quantum computers, therefore these systems are a part of post-quantum cryptography. We plan to study the weaknesses of these systems from the side-channel point-of-view and how to securely implement them.
