Annotation: Cieľom dizertačnej práce je navrhnúť a výpočtovo realizovať riadenie kmitania mechanických konštrukcií pomocou metódy prediktívneho riadenia, pričom model musí zahrnúť komplexnú dynamickú odozvu zahŕňajúce niekoľko dominantných vlastných tvarov a frekvencií. Značnou výzvou môže byť realizácia algoritmu na výpočtovom hardvéri, pretože čím vyššiu dynamiku model zahŕňa, tým je aj vzorkovacia perióda kratšia. Preto študent vo svojom výskume bude komplexne prešetriť možnosti riešenia problému a navrhne aj nové prístupy. Dizertant pritom bude skúmať alternatívy modelovania a zjednodušenia modelov, algoritmické zmeny alebo možný dopad na hardvérovú implementáciu.
Annotation in English: The goal of the thesis is to design and implement vibration control for mechanical structures using predictive control. Meanwhile, the prediction model must include the complex dynamic response of the structure that encompasses several higher order resonant frequencies and modes. A significant challenge will be algorithmic realization on computational hardware, since higher model dynamics implies shorter possible sampling times. Thus, the student will perform a complex investigation into solving this problem and propose novel approaches. The doctoral student will research modeling alternatives, model reduction techniques, algorithmic changes or, for example, the impact on hardware implementation.
