Annotation: Cieľom práce je analyzovať prenosové parametre optického vlákna vrátane nelineárnych efektov so zameraním na ich vplyv na prenos informačných signálov, analyzovať možné rozšírené modulačné a kódovacie techniky optického spracovania signálov a navrhnúť riešenia pre zvýšenie efektívnosti využitia prenosovej kapacity optického vlákna využitím pokročilých techník optického spracovania signálov. Výsledkom práce z praktického hľadiska bude zvýšenie prenosovej kapacity optického vlákna s možnosťou poskytovania nových širokopásmových multimediálnych služieb a aplikácií v optických sieťach.
Annotation in English: The scope is to analyze transmission parameters of the optical fiber including nonlinear effects oriented on their influence on the information signal transmission, to analyze possible advanced modulation and coding techniques of the optical signal processing and to propose solutions for the increasing of the efficiency for optical fiber's transmission capacity by using of advanced techniques of the optical signal processing. The result of work from a practical viewpoint will be an increasing of the optical fiber's transmission capacity with a possibility for new broadband multimedia services and applications' provisioning in optical networks.
