Annotation: Numerické modelovanie technologických procesov pri spracovaní kovov s využitím komerčne dostupných softwarových balíkov je v priemyselnej praxi prítomné už mnoho rokov. Vďaka výpočtovej sile a schopnostiam HW a SW nekladú dnes spomínané systémy nijaké principiálne prekážky na širokospektrálnu optimalizáciu procesu plynulého odlievania ocele. Cieľom zadania dizertačnej práce je vývoj softvérových nástrojov a numerických modelov pre účely komplexných numerických analýz, návrhu riadenia s cieľom optimalizácie procesu výroby zadaného nosného formátu na zariadení plynulého odlievania ocele.
Annotation in English: Numerical modeling of technological processes in the metal industry by means commercially available software packages is available for many years. With regard to computing power and HW & SW capabilities the aforementioned systems do not present any obstacles for the wide-spectrum optimization in continuous casting of steel. The aim of dissertation thesis is the development of software tools and computational models for use in complex numerical analyses, design of control systems with a focus on the core-produced given billet on the continuous casting machine.
