|Summary:||Review a current state of the art of V2X communication and summarize an overview of 3GPP requirements and solutions on vehicular communication. Analyze limits of V2X (especially V2V & V2I) communication based on 4G and 5G networks in terms of communication capacity, delay, and number of vehicles simultaneously communicating in an area with a limited coverage of eNBs/gNBs. Compare performance under different scenarios (urban, suburban, rural) considering simultaneous exploitation of other services at the same frequency band. Further, summarize possible use cases of Vehicular Cloud Computing and analyze their communication and computational requirements. Propose a solution for allocation of communication and computational resources with respect to the required quality of service, type of service (user vs safety), and limits of V2X communication in 4G and 5G networks. To simulate the network and generate the results, simulations in Matlab and SUMO (http://sumo.sourceforge.net/) should be used. This work will be done in cooperation with Škoda Auto a.s.
