Summary: Rastlinná biomasa je zdrojom mnohých fytochemikálií, ktoré je možné extrahovať a izolovať. Purifikáciou izolovaných frakcií je možné získať tokoferoly, ktoré sa ako antioxidanty pridávajú do potravín s cieľom zvýšenia ich oxidačnej stability.
