Summary: V molekulách prírodných fenolových antioxidantov sa často vyskytujú metoxylové skupiny. Ich úloha pri zhášaní radikálov, rozdiel od fenolových OH skupín, doteraz detailnejšie študovaná nebola. Práca sa zameria najmä na termodynamiku homolytického štiepenia O-C väzby metoxylovej skupiny v modelových a prírodných aromatických zlúčeninách.
