Title of the thesis:Detection of Heart Failure Using Ontologies
Language of thesis:English
Topic specifications:Congestive heart failure is a state when the heart cannot provide sufficient cardiac output to satisfy metabolic needs of the body. The thesis focuses on facilitation of ICT to assist medical personnel in detection and management of this chronic condition.

1. Learn about heart failure condition and challenges in diagnostics.
2. Analyze needs of medical personnel related to application of ICT in support of their activities.
3. Design and implement information system based on ontologies to support detection of heart failure.
4. Test the system in clinical setting.
