|Project description:||The main objective of the project is the development and theoretical and experimental research of climate adaptive building shells with integrated photovoltaic elements in the conditions of Slovak Republic. Research team will focus on the following issues: - various configuration designs of building envelopes with integrated photovoltaic modules with the use of transparent thermal insulation and phase-change materials, - complex computer simulations of building envelopes with integrated photovoltaic modules based on interdisciplinary approach, focused on the energy balance of the building, overheating protection, thermal, visual and acoustic comfort, - daylighting systems in office buildings with application of photovoltaic glazing, - experimental verification of the technically and economically most suitable alternative of climate adaptive building shells (CABS), with photovoltaic modules.|
