|Project description:||The project focuses the experimental research of sewage facilities which influences the systems functionality and, in case of overflow structures - CSO, are often a source of the recipient pollution. To align functionality with the need for protection of the recipient proves to be a problem, as past experience with sewer systems operation shows. Legal and practical requirements of environmental protection must be taken into account. Further problems are generated by climate change which generated the new approach of solution. A large part of the project is the gathering of representative data which characterize the properties of urban basin and define the process of rainfall and surface runoff including the transport of pollutants. Acquired data will be used in mathematical models such as MIKE Urban and CFD model ANSYS FLUENT. Results will be used to modify the objects and other regulatory elements The scientific goal of the project is to methodology setup based on mathematical modelling with real data.|
