|Project description:||Elliptic curve (EC) with its exceptional features, valued separately in cryptography, surprises also as a governing curve (GC) in translational surfaces (TS). EC shape doesn't correspond in any way to the shape of an ellipse. However, suitably linearly transformed TS based on the EC has with its intersection pattern in the shape of an ellipse. The existing analytical and graphical analysis of common points of sets of TP pairs now brings a new, original view on the famous curve. The project aims to examine two- and more-parametric objects, where EC is used as the GC and creating of more-parametric object is realized via linear mapping translation. The choice of this transformation is based on synographical approach. Part of the research is also dedicated to transformation and visualization of curvilinear synographs to TS and their analysis as a possible phase portraits of dynamical systems in phase space.|
