|Project description:||Project is orientated on the formulation of theoretical model of the concept of critical thinking (CT). Complexity of the CT phenomenon should be examined in the frame of interdisciplinary model where the pattern of this cross-curricular approach can be identified in the paradigm of cognitive sciences. In the process of creating the CT model is needed to: 1. define the key elements and 2. identify the nature of their mutual relations. Fundamental components of CT will be examined through the conceptual analysis in the context of different existing theories. We dare propose to stem from the definitions of universal (theoretical) scientific methods as they follow: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, comparison, analogy, generalization, concretization, abstraction, idealization and classification. Another important operations that constitute the CT are: evaluation, interpretation and inference. These three mentioned abilities condition the most complex operation of critical thinking -- the argumentation.|
