Project description:The project aims to develop an alternative technique of mini and microbody scanning using confocal microscopy.The aim is to utilize existing methods of microbody scanning and metrology and to transform them into micro area. The project will make use of already available laser confocal microscopy technology and technology of basic piezoelecric positioning. Instead of further expensive expansion of degrees of freedom using piezoelectric movement and rotation technology for positioning of scanned object more accesible technologies will be used, for example technology of stepper drives and sophysticated optimization of position of scanned field of view using stepper drive feedback and reference points located on the measured object, or positioning device.
