Project description:The project pursues the possibility of using ozone in two zones of Metalworking fluids (MWFs). Objcetive 1 - Use of Ozone (O3) as a progressive method of MWFs hygienisation - elimination of microorganisms (low concentrations and times) during the period of their use in the machining for prolonging their life time and a reduction in used sources by their longer-term used (economic and environmental aspects) and for enhance the protection of human machine operator - elimination classically used biocides (safety aspects). Under Objective 2 project tracks the possibility of applying high concentrations of oxidant for the purpose of increasing the degree of degradability after MWFs end of the life in the machining process (economic and environmental aspects).
