Introduction of innovative technologies into learning process and studying of their use to eliminate the current problems of teaching associated to loss of attentionSupervisor: Mgr. Ingrida Bajčičáková, PhD.
This page shows details on the project. The primary projects are displayed together with a list of sub-projects.
|Project description:||The project deals with the possibility of integration and use of innovative technologies such as eye tracker (tracking eye movement), web cameras (monitoring of body temperature) and EEG (brain activity monitoring) in the learning process. These technologies provide a large amount of data and new opportunities for studying human behaviour, offering objective data on body reactions to stimuli during the course. Using the collected data, we can evaluate not only critical points of the learning text but also we are able to detect in which phase of teaching student loses attention and by automated intervention into the teaching, maintain his attention throughout the course in the possible extent. During the education, collected and evaluated data from these devices can help teachers to improve learning strategies, in the creation of educational courses and content and to promote the attainment of deep and long-lasting knowledge.|
