|Project description:||The project introduces the solution of problems of the probabilistic assessment of the safety and reliability of structures considering the extreme loading due to the technological breakdowns and extreme climatic conditions. Probabilistic analysis of the structural damages is based on assumptions of nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of structures using the stochastic finite elements. Uncertainties of material and loading input data are based on statistical evaluation of data obtained experimentally and from standards (recommended histograms). Some characteristics of effects of extreme wind and tornado F3 will be verified experimentally in the wind tunnel on 3-D model of an atypical shape. Effects of interaction of close together situated objects of various shapes will be investigated. Some theoretical procedures and algorithms will be derived for application of simulation techniques of assessment of probability of damage of NPP structure, based on nonlinear solution of crack propagation in concrete.|
