|Project description:||The project focuses on safety and reliability of metal, glass and membrane elements and modern load-bearing constructions. Resistance of steel frames with axially loaded structural elements. Fire resistance of columns in sway frames. Enhancing the quality and function of elastomeric bearings. Methods of increasing the safety and operational reliability of transportation and electric system pipe-lines as well as water management buildings. Examination of co-operative action of glass with other materials in order to determine the residual resistance of damaged glass elements and behavior of laminated glass under various loads. Design of free shapes for modern construction systems. Implementation of directed evolution methods into the process of form-finding and its successive optimization. Improving the methods of static analysis of hybrid, membrane and shell constructions.|
