Project description:The proposed project ties up on projects devoted to the topic and pursued previously, both VEGA and VTP projects. Within basic research, we will design the second generation of a universal apparatus for the growth of D, DLC and C-BN films. The key issue, from the point of view of optimizing the designed technology, will be the compatibility of the films and substrates. Because of these reasons we will apply physical analytical methods to reveal the electrical, morphological, structural, phase and chemical properties of the samples. The output of the basic research will be the possibility to apply the grown film in mechanical engineering, microelectronics and medicine.
