|Project description:||Requirements for material savings, while maintaining their functionality are now very demanded. Use of combined materials is very important in constructions of low energy buildings. EU building codes will primarily be focused on the strategic framework for energy efficiency. Several quality parameters that significantly influence the physico-chemical characteristics of building materials are not under a sufficient level of paying attention. Based on this, the project addresses the detailed research of parameters of combined construction materials such s:acoustic parameters, the integrity of materials, thermal insulating and shielding ability to electromagnetic radiation. Research on these parameters will use a combination of existing advanced techniques and design of new research methodologies. The results will contribute to the development of new construction materials combined with simultaneous determination of the appropriateness of the application of these materials in specific locations in Slovakia.|
