Project description:Production management and process control requires a decision making based on criteria which are often associated with conflicting goals. The intention of research is the investigation of the possibility of applying methods of multiobjective optimization within the simulation optimization applied to selected models of production systems. Authors compare the effectiveness of these methods in obtaining a set (a Pareto set) of optimal solutions needed for decision making in the production. The obtained knowledge can be used for preparation of a knowledge base for qualified decision making for the specified problems of production systems control.
