Project description:The project was aimed to specify the percolation of phonons in a particle composite system Cu-C. There was investigated an influence of size of particles, from microparticles to nanoparticles and there was used also Cu-C system with nanofibers. Using methods of cluster analysis and statistical topography, there was observed a rise of aggregates. Along with the study of structural, electric, and thermophysical properties there were studied also mechanical properties: abrasion, friction etc. Obtained facts show the possibilities of applying Cu-C composites in electrical and mechanical engineering.
