Project description:This project is aimed at solving selected physical, material and environmental problems related to nuclear fuel cycles and the back-end of nuclear energy. New information is acquired by way of computer modelling and simulations via various computer codes, followed subsequently by comparisons with experimental results about the possibilities of transmutation processes for transuraniums and in newly developing reactors based on fluoride molten-salts and about the extent of decreasing their long-term radiotoxicity after transmutation, about radioactive flow of materials and outlets from decommissioning the highly contaminated and activated construction parts of nuclear installations and viewed from the point of their impact on the environment also about new calculation procedures connected with appreciation of hazards following from immediate and delayed dismantling of decommissioned nuclear installations.
