Project description:The aim of this project is the investigation of mutual correlation among various magnetic parameters of metalic ferromagnetics and their microstructure. Namely, the methods based on Barkhausen noise analysis and Magnetic Adaptive Testing will be utilised to quantify the state of accumulated plastic deformation of ferromagnetic construction steels. In parallel with these methods, new trends in the application of ferromagnetic resonance and other microwave parameters for the fast diagnostics of of surface crystallisation of amorphous alloys obtained by means of melt-spinning fabrication process will be explored.
