Project description:The aim of this project is to prepare and characterize different amorphous and nanostructured magnetic materials with attractive, not completely understood properties. The project focuses on two basic objectives: i) to explain the physical processes during mechanical milling and compacting through investigation of structural and magnetic properties of powder and compacted materials, and ii) to optimize the preparation conditions for production of compacted materials with superior soft magnetic properties.
