|Project description:||Determination of the measuring method, assessment and criteria for the analysis of the acoustical conditions in the classrooms, while more teachers are present in the same time. It is called multi-source environment. Our research is related to the selection of characteristic parameters suitable for the evaluation of the closed rooms in terms of intelligibility of speech. Such a set of reliable acoustical numbers doesn?t exist yet, and also there is no technical norm in this field. This is the reason of the relevancy of the topic. These acoustical criteria on understanding of the speech in the multi-source environment (in the rooms), where two sound sources in the same time are present, will be established (chosen or derivated) in the cooperation with the Delft University of Technology in Netherlands. New method will be based on the technical norm ISO 3382 concerning general method for the room acoustic measurements by using one sound source and will be adapted to the requirements of our grant project. Optimalization of chosen classrooms will be performed by using acoustical software CATT acoustics, by computer modelling of the single alternatives.|
