|Project description:||The shortening of firing process of the clay roofing tile causes that we can see a reduction core on the cross-section of brick product more frequently. Its formation depends not only from the shortening firing process, but also from other factors. One of these factors is the effect of pore structure of brick body, too. Therefore we will deepen in introduce project knowledge about the relationship between the pore structure of brick body and the size of reduction core. Because the presences of reduction core in the brick body (above all in the clay-roofing tile) affects negatively its total frost resistance, a better knowledge of this relationship is an assumption of quality and durability improvement of brick products.|
