Project description:The task of the regulating hydropower plant in our elecrification system is unsubstantial. The regulating hydropower plant is multifunctional, maximum flexible source of electrical energy. Mainly, dynamic functions are (f.e. capacity back-up power, available power etc.) very important.The changes of discharge, in relatively short interval, are occured during regulating (peak-load) operation of the hydropower plants. This cases are connected by un-permanent regime of flow in the headraces and tailraces. The un-permanent regime of flow is connected by rise of the waves, having a bad influence upon the objects of the hydropower plant or the water structure and navigation.The next problem, having influence upon regulating operation, is silting pools. The reserve volume is limited by silting. It result in direct influence upon regulating abilities of hydropower plants. Knowledge, about the influence of silting polls upon regulating characteristics of the hydropower plants and interaction between the regulating operation and navigation, is elemental assumption utility of the hydropower plant.
