|Project description:||Submitted project tňdeals with the study, analysis and numerical simulation of materials behaviour by high-speed heating particularly using resistive, induction and laser heating and their exploitation in the progressive forming and heat treatment technologies. The emphasis i put on a very close linking between numerical analyses and experimental measurements of elektro-magnetic, temperature and stress-strain fields and successive application of attained results for the design and optimisation of rapid heating in chosen forming and heat treatment processes. The assessment of the influence of technological parameters during rapid heating on the microstructure, final mechanical and utilisation propertis of materials composes an integral part of the project, together with experimental measurement of material propertis and the development of material databases for chosen steels. In the theoretical area, the research will be focused on the development of special material models and user subroutines for the solution of copled rapid heating problems using commercial finite elements codes.|
